wow what a busy month....

greetings to those that we love. Its one of those nights again- when I cannot sleep and just finished watching the HOUSE episode from the South Pole- I hate Dr. House- and love him at the same time- kinda like all my doctors at UC Davis- how ironic.
I got a new tattoo tonight- Jessa and I did- FAITH on my right wrist- I figured it was suitable considering, well that like my HOPE tattoo- faith sustains ones soul, and gosh have I ever needed that lately. I really like it- and it has sustained me over the past 8+ months.
Kinda hard to put into perspective the happenings since Coltons birth- too much of a story to tell- too many surgeries and recoveries, and scares. My family- Jess and G have been amazing. My parents have bonded with Colton- Aly has learned a very hard and valuable lesson- life is precious and maybe too short.
I am pondering what this whole journey is about- life - near death- recovery- doping different- loving those - even when your in pain- you don't have to be a pain... all those house isms... aakkk

I have learned a lot about myself- and there are many things that i have changed- and still more that I want to... friends- its all about the balance- giving and taking- not just giving.
Jess has been amazing- yet is still housebound and needs friends and things that she enjoys- Aly is a selfish- and predictable 13+ year old- love her- and that is who she is. Gerald and I have rediscovered the meaning of "in sickness and in health"- I am learning that I do not have to HAVE babies to be a great mom- or be the best at everything or all to all to feel good- ...wow

Cole is over 6 months old- Zack's 9 year angel day just passed ,Jackson is so cute and so full of love and compassion... I am blessed
